the sibyls book
Colophon: The Sibyls was printed and bound at Bay Park Press on Dutch etching paper in Bodoni, Bernard Modern, Albertus & Palatino type. There are eight intaglio prints in a limited edition of ten books. The color reproductions are the Sibyls in the Sistine Chapel by Michelangelo and the Sibyl by Velasquez. Unbounded appreciation goes to the typography princess Florence Ashford for all her help in every aspect of this project. Love and thanks to all the men in my family, especially Elijah, for his good health and good cheer this past year. And to the father I never knew who named me Sibyl hoping I would be shrewd in business. That did not occur, but I did end up making books. $1500.00

Colophon: Ten Elephants is a limited edition of hand-tinted etchings on Fabriano Rosapina paper. Each book of 15 is a meditation and a remover of obstacles for the artist.   $500.00
Colophon: The Waterbook: La Jolla Cove. This book reflects my love of La Jolla Cove and my daily swims to the quarter-mile buoy when the ocean is above 65 degrees. The text was printed on Fabriano Rosapina in Clarendon 30 point type. There are six etchings and three unique oil paintings on mylar in each book. With thanks to Jim Machacek for his guidance in editing and good humor in all things.
